We are not an agency sending people to their destination of choice, but rather a network of people who live on Chios and will do their best to show off their home island in the best possible way.
Oh well, it is another one of those well-known stories of a guy leaving the corporate world to open a small hospitality business.
A couple of years ago I started realising, that I probably can't spend the rest of my professional career sitting at the desk and staring at the screen. I need to be around people, working directly with them and for them. Building experiences that people will enjoy and remember. That's what I want to do. That's how an idea for Islanders&Highlanders was born.
I left a career in tech to build something more personal. Or possibly I just wanted daily access to Greek food and sunshine, I am not entirely sure at this point.
I host every retreat myself, working closely with our trusted co-islanders. Choosing the venues, building the relationships with the island's chefs, drivers and guides, designing the days, and cooking some of the dinners. I am always around, either at the property, or a short phone call away. While you're on the island, my only focus is making sure your team has what it needs.
And here we are, trying to make it work.
